AIT- coordinator Solar Arrays

AIT Manager

Employer: Airbus Defence and Space Netherlands
Hours: 40 hours per week (minimum 32 hours on-site)
Location: Leiden area

About the role

You will coordinate and manage Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) activities for the development of next-generation flexible Solar Array systems. You will ensure internal test facilities, planning and test execution are aligned, enabling projects to be delivered safely, efficiently and according to schedule. You will work closely with Team Leaders, Project Managers and Engineering teams while coordinating multiple stakeholders throughout the development process.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate Assembly, Integration & Test activities across multiple projects
• Develop and manage AIT planning and execution strategies
• Coordinate internal test facilities and test campaigns
• Ensure test plans are executed according to quality, planning and safety requirements
• Manage technical and operational stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor progress, risks and project milestones
• Drive continuous improvement of AIT processes
• Support successful delivery of advanced Solar Array programs

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Approximately 5–10 years of relevant experience
• Experience coordinating engineering or AIT activities within a high-tech environment
• Strong planning and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar)
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Experience within the aerospace or space industry is a strong advantage
