Position

Data Analyst / BI Developer — Identity & Access Management (IAM)

Role overview

You will extract value from IAM data and convert it into actionable insights. You will build reports and management information for business and system owners, provide insights on IAM customers (employees & engineers), define key metrics, and develop scalable data and reporting products to support self-service analytics and data-informed decision-making. You will collaborate closely with data ingestion squads and solution architects to deliver data products and maintain key reports used by senior stakeholders.

Top 3 responsibilities

• Designing and developing new data & reporting products in the Microsoft Azure stack (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure DevOps deployment pipelines, Power BI).
• Working together on new innovative solutions for complex business needs.
• Developing scalable data & reporting products to support and accelerate Self-Service Business Intelligence and data-informed decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Build reports and insights for business and system owners and management information for domain leads.
• Define and track key metrics to monitor and improve products.
• Collaborate with data ingestion teams and solution architects to create simple, reusable data products.
• Maintain key reports that inform senior management and external parties.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (e.g. Computer Sciences).
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a BI developer in a complex IT landscape; experience with IAM is preferred.
• Strong SQL skills and experience developing ETL solutions.
• Experience with the Azure data platform (e.g. ADF, Databricks, Synapse, Azure DevOps). Knowledge of Python and Spark preferred.
• Knowledge of data modelling in Analysis Services or Power BI.
• Certifications (a plus):
  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals
  • Databricks Certified Data Analyst Associate
  • Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate
• Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Very good communication and cooperation skills.
• Agile mindset and experience working in agile/scrum.
• Can-do mentality and eagerness to explore and learn new technologies.
• Languages: English and Dutch mandatory.
