Who we are looking for

Role: Data Engineer
Overview: You will be responsible for migrating the current on-premises data warehouse to a cloud-based data warehouse according to the guidelines of the central architecture team. This role is part of an international project team with colleagues in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.

Context

The existing NL data warehouse is on-premises and uses Informatica PowerCenter for ETL; that tool will be decommissioned, requiring a transition architecture and migration to a cloud solution.

Work location & hours

Location: Rijswijk
Working hours: Full time (40 hours)

Responsibilities

• Build and operate data solutions on cloud platforms (AWS).
• Design and implement scalable architectures such as data lakes and data warehouses.
• Execute the migration of the on-premises data warehouse to a cloud-based solution following central architecture guidelines.
• Collaborate with international process partners on the target data architecture.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR).

Eisen

• Strong experience with SQL and data modeling
• Experience with Python, Tableau
• Hands-on experience with data integration and orchestration tooling (e.g.
  IDMC, DBT, Glue)
• Proficient in Dutch and business English, both in writing and speaking.
  German is an advantage
• CV in ENGLISH
