Data Scientist – Team Delphi

Role summary: Shape the future of airport operations by developing and operationalizing data-driven forecasting models that help millions of passengers travel smoothly through one of Europe’s busiest airports. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, delivering accurate models that are deployed, monitored and continuously improved in production.

Responsibilities

• Develop, productionize and support machine learning models and data pipelines for forecasting passenger flows.
• Implement monitoring and observability to ensure model reliability and performance in production.
• Collaborate closely with ML engineers, architects and business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
• Explore and evaluate new technologies and methods to improve forecasting processes and infrastructure.
• Align technical decisions with product strategy in close cooperation with the product owner.

Technologies and tools

• Cloud-native tooling (Azure preferred)
• Databricks
• Production ML and MLOps practices
• Containerized application deployment

Requirements

• At least 5 years relevant experience in machine learning.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with MLOps, cloud computing and cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and running models in production.
• Experience with containerized deployments.
• Analytical mindset and ability to distinguish between main and secondary issues.
• Excellent communication skills; English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience with MLflow, PySpark or Streamlit.

Eisen

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in machine learning
• Strong programming skills in Python

• Excellent communication skills; English proficiency is required
• The candidate must have a valid ID (passport or identity card), which must
  be presented for verification during the intake and on the contract start
  date

Wensen
