Hours: 36 hours/week
Work pattern: Hybrid — Thursday office day in Utrecht (Croeselaan)

About the role

As a Data Scientist you will design, develop and deploy advanced Generative AI solutions that deliver measurable value. You will work closely with stakeholders to co-create scalable, responsible AI systems, dive deep into data, work with generative models and help drive adoption of GenAI across diverse domains.

Practical examples of work

• Engage directly with internal customers to understand processes and systems
• Build responsible and cost-effective GenAI solutions for large user bases
• Co-create solutions using reusable GenAI building blocks
• Collaborate with team members and end-users to solve complex problems and convert use-case solutions into reusable cross-domain solutions

Key responsibilities

• Co-create, build, test, deploy and operate high-quality, highly scalable GenAI solutions
• Contribute to automation of GenAI solutions across domains
• Collaborate with peers, experts and stakeholders to deliver business value to customers

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role
• Strong programming skills, proficient in Python; ability to write clean, reusable code
• Software engineering experience is a plus
• Strong product thinking and ability to translate business problems into pragmatic data science solutions
• Solid understanding of NLP and large language models; experience building Generative AI applications strongly encouraged
• Experience developing, evaluating, deploying and monitoring models, and familiarity with LLMOps/MLOps/DevOps practices
