Network Delivery Analyst

As a Network Delivery Analyst you will support and maintain Rabobank’s global datacentre network and WAN connectivity, providing 2nd and 3rd line support and contributing to both operational and project work.

Key responsibilities

• Support: Provide 2nd and 3rd line support to resolve incidents and problems during business hours and occasionally while on standby.
• F5 solutions: Develop and maintain F5 solutions providing access to the Internet and Financial Markets.
• Provisioning: Provision network services with attention to security and compliance.
• Capacity & stakeholders: Provide input for capacity planning and stakeholder management.
• Operations & projects: Balance operational responsibilities with project work within a self-organizing agile team.

Required experience & skills

• Experience: More than 5 years’ experience as a Network Engineer in a large corporate multinational environment.
• Protocols & technologies: Knowledge/experience with IPv4, IPv6, Cisco ACI, Ansible.
• Products: Experience with HPE, F5, Cisco, Nexus and Juniper products.
• Certifications: Network certification at 301+ level.
• Processes: Basic knowledge and experience with ITIL processes.
• Ways of working: Experience with Agile and DevOps approaches preferred.
• Availability: Willingness to perform standby duties and out-of-office-hours changes.

Working conditions

• Shift system: Operations shifts between 07:30 and 18:00; on-call required.
• Standby frequency: Standby duty typically 1 week per 7 weeks.
• Work split: Role is split between operational work and project work; most changes are planned outside business hours to minimise business impact.

• Team: You will work in a self-organizing datacentre network team alongside other specialists.
• Learning: Mentoring, hands-on experience and continuous learning are part of the environment.
