FEC Analist C

Position

Role: Medior CDD Analyst (part of the FEC Service Centre Wholesale and Rural team, Netherlands)
Time commitment: 36 hours per week

Your role

You coordinate and facilitate Client Onboarding, Periodic, and Event-driven CDD reviews on behalf of Commercial Teams. You are responsible for the end-to-end FEC process for new and existing clients throughout their lifecycle. The role requires resilience, effective prioritization, critical thinking, constructive collaboration, persistence, and good timing.

Top responsibilities

• Execute and monitor FEC and Customer Due Diligence processes based on input from internal and external stakeholders.
• Define research problems and methods; conduct investigations (data collection and analysis); present findings with conclusions and rationale.
• Maintain contact with internal stakeholders, understand the environment and client situation, and identify and discuss developments and service needs.
• Actively participate in the team and relevant projects; share responsibility for delivering results.

Practical examples of the work

• Perform annual reviews for high-risk clients (e.g., Food & Agri): identify missing documents, assess risk changes, draft CDD reports, analyze transactions, and submit for quality review.
• Support time-sensitive acquisition deals involving complex jurisdictions: consult Compliance, gather required answers, and request special approvals when necessary.
• Investigate unexplained transactions: consult colleagues and Advisory, formulate additional client questions, complete the CDD report, and present the case and escalation path to the team.

Your profile

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Experience: Relevant medior/senior experience in the financial sector with knowledge of AML, CDD, and WWFT.
• Languages: Fluent in English (spoken and written). Proficiency in Dutch is a strong advantage.
• Skills: Strong time management, organization, communication, and relationship-building skills; comfortable in a dynamic, evolving environment.
• Work style: Results-driven and pragmatic; takes ownership of cases and knows when to push forward even without all information.

Team: International team with over 20 nationalities.
Selection: Interviews will take place at the office or via video call.
