Sr Backend Developer

Position

Senior Backend Developer (Business Development) — you will design, build and maintain enterprise-grade, production-ready backend solutions using .NET and Azure, delivering end-to-end features and collaborating with developers and stakeholders to take applications into production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain production-ready backend services using .NET on Azure and implement new features and integrations.
• Write clean, maintainable code with strong tests, documentation and sensible patterns.
• Drive technical decision-making (trade-offs, performance, reliability, cost).
• Implement event-driven architectures to support efficient communication between systems.
• Develop and administer APIs, data acceptance and storage solutions for websites.
• Own features end-to-end: discovery, design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring and debugging production issues.
• Contribute to architectural decisions using technical insight and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Share knowledge of best practices in code quality, security and system performance; support colleagues and champion quality standards.
• Debug and troubleshoot applications and provide remedies to system difficulties.

Skills & Experience

• Experience: Minimum ~5 years as a backend developer, with deep expertise in .NET Core and C#.
• Cloud: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Functions, Key Vaults, App Insights, Container Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid).
• Architectures: Experience with event-driven and messaging-based systems (e.g., Kafka or similar).
• DevOps & Delivery: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Practices: Producing strong tests, documentation, and following product lifecycle approaches such as Agile Scrum.
• Manner: Prefer delivering features end-to-end, from idea to running code in production.
• Interest: Willingness to explore and pioneer new technologies, including AI-related solutions.
